Transport tarps are essential for protecting your load, ensuring it remains clean and dry. These lumber tarps are constructed from a durable vinyl-coated PVC material that weighs 18oz per square yard, making them waterproof and resistant to rot, UV rays, and oil. The vinyl is specially designed to withstand extreme cold, with a cold crack rating of -40°C.
Measuring 24 feet in width and 27 feet in length, the lumber tarp features 4 rows of D-rings positioned at intervals of 2, 4, 6, and 8 feet from the tarp’s edge along the 27-foot length. An 8-foot by 8-foot flap, equipped with 4 rows of D-rings, and additional 1-foot fenders that fold under the flap provide extra protection. These tarps can be used in pairs to cover loads up to 53 feet in length, as demonstrated in our 2-piece heavy-duty lumber tarp set.
The borders are reinforced with webbing and rope, featuring #4 brass grommets spaced approximately 24 inches apart. Stainless steel D-rings, also spaced about 24 inches apart, offer multiple tie-down points for securing the tarp, ensuring maximum coverage for your load. Each box-stitched D-ring is reinforced with a vinyl wear patch to prevent scuffing and tearing at rubber strap connection points.
